Infrastructure
Cascade Locks Elementary has a Safe Routes to School Plan!
There are 11 infrastructure recommendations in the plan including crossings, a bikeway and sidewalks on Forest Lane. Check out the barriers and opportunities identified for students of Cascade Locks starting on page 83 of the plan. -

80s Walk & Roll Club
80s Walk & Roll Club was inspired by movies of the 1980s like Goonies and E.T. and the current show of Stranger Things. All these shows feature free-range, problem-solving kids riding bikes or blazing trails in the woods.
Students will gain more confidence in biking while subversively learning traffic etiquette, empathy and laws. We listen to music and have fun.
5th to 8th graders welcome. Offered year around.
