Wy'East Middle School
Programs, Clubs and Infrastructure

  • Infrastructure

The students and caregivers of Wy'East Middle School have an exciting opportunity to take part in the Oregon DOT Safe Routes to School planning process for the County, beginning in January 2026. Streets and trails within 2 miles of the high school will be analyzed to create a network of safe biking and walking routes.

    Email megan.ramey@hoodriver.k12.or.us to get involved.

  • Bike Unit in School

Twice a year, during the Fall and Spring, Megan works with PE teacher, Mrs. Claus, to offer biking education during class. The curriculum includes basic bike mechanics, safety checks, learning to ride, confidence, laws, etiquette and for those who are comfortable, trail riding.
