You are invited to Bike Bash!
Please join our bike community to celebrate National Bike Month and 300 bike donations in 3 years!
“I don’t have a bike” is no longer a barrier for children or families to ride to school or for an adventure. This is a party and a fundraiser for Anson’s Bike Buddies, a key partner in Hood River County School District’s Safe Routes to School program. The volunteer wrenchers tune-up all the bike fleets for the District’s physical education classes and afterschool programs.
Sincerely,
Megan Ramey, Safe Routes to School Manager

STORY OF ANSON'S BIKE BUDDIES
Anson’s Bike Buddies is a Columbia Gorge Non-Profit Organization. Anson’s Bike Buddies started as an idea formed in conjunction with Anson’s realization that there are children in his community who cannot afford a bicycle and the monthly service projects adopted by his school. Anson’s parents, Jeff Pulk and Kristen Campbell, and his mentor, Jeff Craven, a Mountain View Cycles bike mechanic, supported Anson’s idea to create a service project aimed at collecting used bicycles, repairing them and partnering with other local non-profit organizations, such as The Next Door, to donate the bicycles to mid-Columbia children who may not otherwise have access to a bicycle. This idea became Anson’s Bike Buddies, a non-profit organization with this mission: “Donate a Bike—Change a Life.”
